LAKE BABAKAN


An ancient tribe of Betawi still living in harmony in South Jakarta.


Situ Babakan, is a cultural heritage located in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa district, South Jakarta. OLD TOWN

FANTASY WORLD



The largest outdoor amusement center in Indonesia. Fantasy World also called Dufan (also called "Fun Do") which was inaugurated on August 29, 1985 is where the entertainment complex located in Ancol Dreamland (Ancol park dream), North Jakarta, Indonesia.

SCHMUTZER PRIMATE CENTER


The largest primate center in the world. When you visit Ragunan Zoo, do not miss to visit the Schmutzer Primate Center which is one of the world's largest primate center. Formerly the world's largest primate center in Leipzig, Germany. Now, Schmutzer Primate Center is the largest with an area exceeding 13 hectares.

ANCOL DREAMLAND


For the most of Jakarta people, this is the nice place for a vacation.

From its inception in 1966, Ancol Dreamland Park is intended as an integrated tourism area by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta. To achieve these goals, the government of Jakarta has appointed Pembangunan Jaya Corp. as Executing Agency for Development (BPP) Project Ancol is done in stages in accordance with the increase of national economy and people's purchasing power.


On July 2, 2004, Ancol did go public and change the status to Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Inc.. with 72% shareholding status by the Government of DKI Jakarta and 18% by  Pembangunan Jaya Corp.  and 10% by the public. The move to go public is done in order to improve company performance and creating a Clean & Good Governance. Performance and a positive image of this will spur the company to continue to grow and develop in a healthy future.
Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Inc. also making efforts to launch a new logo repositioning Ancol on July 10, 2005. The changes are not merely replace the company's logo, but also to boost morale and corporate culture as a whole.



Beaches and Parks

INDONESIA IN MINIATURE PARK
